2011 Year 6 Camp to Borland

Hi Guys here's a pic of camp on the bush walk  (it Has Been edited a bit, the one on the right is the real one). on the first day with adventure southland the first thing we did was orienteering outdoor cooking, After that we did horizontal bungee and archery, then rafting, then traverse. then that was day over the next day we did low ropes A.B.L then bivvy and air rifles, then abseiling, then rock climing and that was day over

The First Ever Myross Bush Ski trip

On The 2nd Of September 2011 my School (Myross bush) had their 1st ever Ski Trip To Remarkables in Queenstown. I had to get up at 4:00 in the Morning (I was tried) we left school at 5:15 and arrived at the ski field at about 8:00. We unloaded the bus and went inside, (it was warm inside) we got our Ski card and rented the gear and went to our lesson, my instructor was called Dan and he was from the united kingdom after the lesson we got to do any thing so I went with Josh coopers dad to practice my turning so we could go the chairlift, so we did that and then we went on the chairlift it was hard at The start but then it got easier. After I went on the 1st one heaps I Went On The ''Sugar bowl'' the second chairlift Their were jumps everywhere but i avoided them, then their was was this ''safe road'' and a Huge dip, So i deiceded  to go on the dip and then i had a major wipe out, i got winded really bad and hurt my shoulder really bad. when i fell i was skiding for a WHOPPING 20 METRES. But then It Was time to go home so that was the end of that awesome day

In Class We Were Doing Lego Animations with Safety Town We Had To use some Myross bush values So In our Group We Did Integrity (doing the right thing when know else is looking) please leave some positive comments

Science Inquiry

In class this term the inquiry is science, in the last two weeks we have been doing some experiments, in my class the experiments are based on heat. We did one where you light a candle, get a film canister, put some baking soda in, put a couple drops of vinegar in quickly shut the lid of the film canister, give it a bit of a shake, then open the canister towards and beside the candle the it will got out, amazing aye.

The Last Week Of Term 2

Hi Guys Last Week of Term to And Its Been Exciting we have been doing safety town from Monday to Wednesday (and if you want to see more on safety town click here) Thursday was Toy Day ( I Brought my Ripstick) and today t was supposed to be 'the big morning out' but its to wet, so we are having a board game day and red nose day backing chch and cure for kids so its a pretty awesome day/week

Jibboo Workshop

 Hi Guys Jack Here, On Friday The 17th Of The 6th 2011 I ran A Google Chrome Workshop. There Was 6 Of my Class Mates Doing It , We Had A Couple Of Problems With Downloading And PATIENTS! But It All Worked Out. The Reason I Got To Run Was Because For Jibboo We Got To Apply For job So I Got Workshop Coordinator.
